PGE Information

The Puget Sound Energy HELP Program opened on October 5th, 2012.  This program has been funded with about 20% MORE funds than last season so we expect to have enough to meet the most critical need in our community.

***PLEASE NOTE*** This program provides assistance ONLY to low income PSE gas customers. No assistance is provided for PUD customers.

Income guidelines for PSE HELP ARE SLIGHTLY HIGHER than those for LIHEAP (regular Energy Assistance Program).

Please have clients call 388-3880 beginning on Thursday, October 4th for information or to make appointments. We expect the phone lines to be very busy when we first open. The lobby will not open until Friday at 8:00 A.M.

The regular Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) which provides assistance with ALL heat types including PUD electricity, is tentatively scheduled to open on November 15th .

PLEASE NOTE: The LIHEAP program still has a contract with $0 – in other words, we have no funds at this time. Congress has passed a Continuing Resolution (CR)

Which means that funds should be available soon. We will notify you once we have more information.
